Collaborating for a Global Definition of Human Rights
This project in global collaboration will have historical and social significance. You will collaborate to create a global student definition of human rights. You will research human rights violations which have happened or are currently happening in your country. You will post the violations on this wiki for all to read. Each group will then respond on this Wiki about the similarities and differences they have found in each of the human rights violations posted. You will then debate via a Skype webcam on what terminology should be included in your definition. Once you have a working definition, each group will continue to comment on a Wiki page on how to ensure human rights are maintained throughout the world. The culminating project will be the formation of a Wiki page that would express the importance of maintaining human rights throughout the world. You will need to tap your research and persuasive writing strategies as you design a website for an audience of peers.
